Full Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for friendly Booking Coordinating to coordinate ours clients accommodation, transportation, tours and activities reservations.
Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with booking activities, accommodation, and ground transportation as needed. Ensure that travel is ticketed accurately. Responsible for booking tour participants, ensuring that everyone is booked prior to participating.
• Maintain effective customer focused communication throughout with all travel partners.
• Assist with both tour activities admin tasks and business related tasks to keep the business operating.
• Respond to clients emails and enter all confirmed reservation in booking system.
• Process clients reservations payments.
• Provide and maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism through telephone and public contacts.
• Promote the services of Arctic Tours Canada to travel agencies and clients.
• Monitor and respond to customer reviews and surveys.
• Coordinate with Experiences team to prepare clients itineraries and welcome kits.
• Manage multiple booking systems and social media postings.
• Prepare and distribute weekly clients experiences itinerary to assigned tour guides.
• Monitor and manage online booking calendar for all tour activities and hotel rooms.
• Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.
Ideal Candidates:
•Degree or diploma in related Travel Industry or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be accepted
•Demonstrated proficiency of computer applications within Windows platform.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple and changing priorities and demands.
• Personal or professional travel experience
•Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Multiple language skills including Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, and English
• Experience using Windows, Photoshop and video editing software
• Experience working with individuals and teams.
• Experience working in multicultural work environment.
• Experience in domestic Asian and Latin travel market

Aurora Tour Guide
Are you the person who goes out of their way to make someone feel at ease and important? Does the thought of working outdoors, no matter the weather, and doing physical work all day get you excited? If so, a Tour Guide role with Arctic Tours Canada could be the perfect fit.
DUTIES
- Escort individuals or groups on scheduled northern lights experiences and other activities that we offer.
- Utilize microphones or other communication devices.
- Resolve itinerary and other problems.
- Ensure and monitor guest luggage transfers.
- Develop and deliver commentaries;
- Describe points of interest.
- Confirm transportation and accommodation reservations.
- Co-ordinate guided experiences.
- Attend to hotel, airport and other check-in and check-out procedures.
- Co-ordinate activities with local tour guides or leaders of travel groups.
- Assist guests with special needs.
- Collect administration or entrance fees.
- Assist guest to setup photography equipment
- Conduct guided aurora viewing and photography tours, fishing tours, walking tours, sightseeing of museums, gallery exhibitions and historical sites visits, hiking and other guided experiences that we offer.
- Provide historical and scientific facts about northern lights and sell our northern lights inspired souvenir’s.
- Answer inquiries and provide information
- Ensure safety of all tour participants all the time.
- Ability to guide in English and another language Taiwanese, Chinese, Japanese or Spanish added advantage.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
College Diploma
Credentials
(certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate,
- Wildlife Awareness Training,
- Food Safety Handling Certificate,
- Cold Stress Training
Experience
- 2+ years experience in guided tours
- Experience in night photography and Adobe Photoshop editing software
Compensation | Full Time
$17/hour plus gratuities
